In the case Contract Change Procedures are not incorporated in the respective contracts, those will be incorporated in the
artifact Service Governance Plan (SGP).
Adding more servers or applications or even additional services during the continuous service delivery will seldom lead to
changing the related contract and re-signing it. Often only an addendum to the contract is changed, agreed and signed. As
long as the contract itself is clear about what the consequences are of changing quantities, changing the type or scope of
the services, that is perfectly okay. In that case the addenda become more ‘operational’ type of documents, which can be
used for clear and unambiguous invoicing.
It should however be clear for all resources and management involved in the continuous service delivery what proposed
services changes are ‘business as usual’ and what changes do need a contract change and therefore need to trigger the
contract change procedure.
